Description:
Straight tent poles are an alternative way to pitch tents and tarps
that are designed to be set up with trekking poles.
Our tent poles are made from high quality wrapped carbon fiber tubing with
internal carbon ferrules. They are made to withstand high wind conditions.
The poles fold flush with equal length sections. The short folded
length allows them to pack with your tent, horizontally in your backpack. You may wish to add a
Tent Pole Sack to
protect your tent material, or to keep multiple poles organized.
They are
bound together with shock cord. The ends have vinyl end caps.
If you want to use these with a tarp, or on an exterior tent pull
out, you might want a
tent pole cup to
hold it in place.
We do not do any carbon cutting, but you can cut these down yourself with a hack
saw or rotary saw to fit shorter tents. Just cut off the end and replace the vinyl end cap. You will
not hit the shock cord.
Tent Requirements:
A Hexamid Pocket tarp takes a single 48" (122 cm) pole.
A Solplex takes a 48" (122 cm) main pole and a 32" (82 cm) back
pole.
A Plexamid takes a 48" (122 cm) pole.
A Duplex takes two 48" (122 cm) poles or
Freestanding Flex Poles
A Triplex takes two 48" (122 cm) poles
If you wish to prop up the sides of any of our tents use 32" (82 cm) poles with
Pole Cups.
